Please arrive about 10 minutes early to fill out all required forms. If you would prefer, fill out our New Patient Form online before you arrive.
*IMPORTANT: Any form submitted by email must be encrypted, to ensure it is secure. By submitting an unencrypted email form, you are consenting to an unsecured email. Alternatively, please print off the form, complete it, and bring it to our office.
Initial Examination
When you visit our office for your first appointment, your dentist will begin by reviewing your medical and dental history and completing a comprehensive dental exam. Your exam will include a thorough examination of your gums, teeth, bite and jaw, an oral cancer screening and any required X-rays.
Treatment Plan
After a review of your history and examination results, your dentist will develop a personalized long-term dental treatment plan for you. Your dentist will also take the time to answer any questions you have about your dental health and treatment options.

- How can I book an appointment?
If you would like to book an appointment at St. Laurent Dental Centre, please contact our office during our regular business hours.
- How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Whenever you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us. We kindly request that you let us know about any change of plans as soon as you can, so we can offer the space in our schedule to another patient.
- Do you offer appointment reminders?
In the days before your appointment, you will receive automated phone, text or email appointment reminders from us. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us as soon as possible to let us know.
- Do you provide services in any languages other than English?
Yes, our office is able to provide dental services in several languages including French and German.
If you have a language preference, please advise us when booking your appointment.
- Does your clinic have on-site parking?
Yes, we are convieniently located inside the St. Laurent Shopping Centre and have plenty of free parking available for all our patients. We are also easily accessible by public transit.
Insurance & Payment Options
At St. Laurent Dental Centre, we'll help you navigate our options for payment, direct billing to insurance companies and financing so you can focus on getting the dental care you need.
- Insurance Claim Submissions
Our office does not accept third-party payments. Payment is required upfront from all our patients and the insurance company will reimburse you. We will still send the claim to your insurance directly on your behalf.
We submit your insurance claim electronically, resulting in faster reimbursement, without the need for paper forms and signatures.
Our administrative team can assist you in understanding your insurance plan better and can also send estimates to your insurance company prior to starting any major treatments.
Please bring your insurance plan information to your appointment.
- Payment Methods
Any co-pays or amounts not covered by insurance are your responsibility and must be paid at the time of your appointment.
We accept payment by cash, debit or most major credit cards.
